My Elderly Space

A look at the remarkable lives of the elderly

How long will you live?

It's encourage to read about the active lifestyles of the elderly, including those well beyond a hundred-years-old. But what of our own lives?

That's the goal of livingto100.com. The site was designed by Dr. Thomas Perls, a Boston longevity expert who heads the New England Centenarian Study, the world's largest study of those over the age of 100. "It's very much an evidence-based [tool]," says Perls. "I think it's a pretty good gauge, based on the available literature."

Genetics aside, there are still many factors we have control of and can affect our likelihood of living healthy and well beyond the 100 year mark.

Go ahead and take the test and see for yourself.
